After two decades of consulting with the dietary supplement and food industries, of mentoring student research, and of producing media, one thing became obvious: The support needed by all was complimentary.

Connecting a pipeline of nutrition and exercise news with fresh minds and companies that could benefit from the resulting innovation became my passion. Our mentoring and collaboration efforts matter because they’re a simple focus on others as opposed to oneself. It took a while to dawn on me but student research awards, successful “shark tank” style pitches, professional placements in competitive programs, modest grants, spinoff companies, provisional patent applications, and friends in industry were evidence that this was an ecosystem.
